Editorial policy
Search Visibility Wiki publishes only claims we could verify against a primary or original source, links that source inline, and labels the date of any time-sensitive statistic. Where we could not verify a commonly repeated figure, we leave it out.
What sources do we use?
- Official documentation from Google, Microsoft, OpenAI and Perplexity.
- Original research papers (arXiv, conference proceedings).
- Original studies from research organizations and vendors, labeled as such.
- Vendor product pages for tool features, labeled with the access date.
How do we handle numbers?
Every statistic is quoted as reported, with its date and measurement context. We do not extrapolate, combine or round figures into new claims. Correlation studies are labeled as correlational.
How do we describe tools?
Only features documented on the vendor’s own site as of the access date. We do not rank tools or publish accuracy claims we have not tested.
How do we handle agency and service pages?
Pages about hiring agencies or services are neutral checklists. They name no agency, recommend no provider and carry no affiliate links, and no provider pays for inclusion.
How are corrections handled?
Corrections are made in place and the page’s modified date is updated. Suggested corrections with a source are welcome.
