SERP features

From Search Visibility Wiki · By the · Published · Last reviewed · How we research

SERP features are the results-page elements beyond the ten blue links: AI Overviews, featured snippets, People Also Ask, knowledge panels, rich results, image and video packs, and local packs. Google documents them in its visual elements gallery. They change how much visibility, and how many clicks, a ranking earns.

What SERP features does Google document?

Google’s visual elements gallery lists the elements that can appear in results, from text results and site names to rich results, image and video features.[1] Its AI features documentation covers AI Overviews and AI Mode.[2]

How do you track SERP features?

Rank trackers record which features appear for tracked keywords; Search Console reports search appearance types.[5] See rank tracking.
